Audra Briggs
Math, Native American Studies, Computer Science, and Writing Teacher
Mrs. Audra Briggs teaches 6th grade Math Strategies, Writing, and Careers Exploration, as well as 7th grade Computers and Native American Cultures. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern State University.
What Mrs. Briggs enjoys most about teaching is getting to know her students and creating a classroom environment where they feel comfortable coming to her with their questions and needs. She especially loves seeing students experience success and grow in confidence.
Mrs. Briggs values building positive relationships with her students and wants them to feel supported as they learn and grow. She enjoys helping students recognize their abilities and develop the confidence they need to be successful.
Outside of school, Mrs. Briggs enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, Dalton, their two children, Dillon and Piper, and their Labradoodle, Bo. Both of her children are graduates of Sperry High School and now attend Ole Miss in Oxford, Mississippi. She also enjoys talking on the phone with her children, attending Sperry extracurricular activities, and simply relaxing.
