Course Description: This course is designed to build on algebraic and geometric concepts. It develops advanced algebra skills such as systems of equations, advanced polynomials, imaginary and complex numbers, and quadratics. It also introduces matrices and their properties. The content of this course is important for students’ success on both the ACT and college mathematics entrance exams.
Course Policies:
a) Attendance: Regular attendance is expected and necessary for success.
b) Homework: On any particular day on which homework is assigned, selected problems from the homework will be collected and graded for a total possible of 5 to 10 points or an in class assignment could be given for the same number of points.
