Hello, my name is MaKayla West. I teach 4th grade general music and band 5-12. This will be my 8th year teaching and in the district. 

During my time at Sperry, our band has earned 3 Sweepstakes State Championships. 

I started band in 2006, my main instrument is the clarinet. I attended Glenpool Public Schools from kindergarten to graduation. I have a bachelor degree in music education from the University of Tulsa.
