Destruction of Records Notice
PUBLIC NOTICE
DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS
All special education/confidential files and health records for students from Sperry Public Schools with an expected graduation date of 2012 or previous will be destroyed June 16, 2017. The destruction of these records is consistent with the regulations set forth in the State of Oklahoma’s Records Retention/Disposition Schedule. Any former Sperry Public School student who does not want their special education/confidential records destroyed is to contact the Sperry Public School Special Education Office at 918-288-7312 ext. 145 prior to June 16, 2017. These records may be needed by student/parent in the future for Social Security benefits or other purposes. The destruction of confidential files does not include regular education records.
